Noticed today when I take my foot off the brake pedal, it makes a squeaking noise. Any tips/suggestions?

But the noise seems to come from the actual brake pedal, and not the brake pads or anything from the outside.

 

 

I was thinking the same thing. I'm assuming there's a little entry where the pedals are at so I can apply the WD40?

 

if your car is new, it will do that for the first 2-3000 miles

My brakes/pads squeak a little when I go in reverse only. Strange.

 

Mine squeak when coming to a stop. I took it to the dealer and they said I have low pads in front and back and I only have 25k miles on my car. Does this sound right to you people? Out of brake pads at only 25k?

 

Mine squeaked at 25k and the dealer said my pad life was fine. I dunno.

 

Possible, but per my previous thread, I'm shocked at how much pad I have left at 16k miles and hard driving. It would certainly be possible to be out of pad at 25k if you drive hard - if you don't, seems unlikely. Pull a wheel off and take a look!

 

Pray that you wont have to replace your breakes, i replaced mine 2 weeks ago spend $475 for all 4 of them OUCH

 

I dont get a squeak, but i get a like a clicking noise from the right rear. I hope its not tranny or anything like that. Its only when coming out a complete stop and accelerating not hard but aggressive.... Is this normal?

 

Or do it yourself for exactly $105 in parts (from Riverside). Very easy install.

 

All my past nissan's have had bad squel to them.
