Bosch Icon or Rain-X Latitude Wipers

Pep Boys is running its buy one get one free promotion again. My G35 Journey only has abou 2K miles but I'm not very satisfied with the stock wipers. Have heard that one of these will be a great improvement.

Which do you prefer for your G?

Just curious, do you wipe off the blade of your wipers when you wash your car (run a towel along it)? My OEM blades worked so perfectly that I replaced them with the same, but the blades get wiped off once a week at least. It gets ride of all of the grit and crap that eats the blade.

That's good advice to always remember that, but I haven't had the same success with the stock wipers as you have. When I get my car washed, they do a quick rain-x treatment and that helps somewhat. But I've heard the Bosch or Rain-X wipers are way better, wondering which of these two is best for the 07 and 08 G?

I have them.

I don't like them

They did not last long and don't work well at high speeds.

Joker, which do you have that you don't like? Bosch or Rain-X wipers?

I'm on my 16th month with the stocks and still going strong. They have exceeded my expectations. I tried those silicon wipers on my jeep and they SUCK. not sure about rain-x or Bosch.

Also Rain-X came up, there is a far superior product out there if anyone is interested. it's called aqua-pel. it's not available to the general public, you need to order it off ebay. it's designed for commercial aircraft windows. it lasts a good year for each application. far better for only a few dollars more. it's made by PPG which is one of the largest glass manufactures in the world.
