2gb compact flash card - $15.50 shipped
Best price I've found on a 2gb card.

I bought one a couple a months ago and forgot to put up a post about it. It's only $10.49 b4 shipping, so it's cheaper per card to order a few.

I believe you can only have 512 songs listed, so this may be overkill. I use my 2Gb card for single songs and haven't been able to fill it yet.

4GB - http://shop3.outpost.com/product/544...H:MAIN_RSLT_PG

4GB cards were $9.99 after $15 rebate (rebate expired 4/15, so they are now $24.99). 2GB cards are $9.99 without any rebates. If you buy these at Fry's retail stores, you avoid the shipping charge.
As others have mentioned, there is a 512 songs limitation and 2GB is normally the optimal size, but with larger mp3 sizes that I have I am only able to fit approximately 385 songs on a 2GB card. Getting the 4GB card allowed me to load full 512 songs. Besides, at the same $9.99 price that i paid, why not get the bigger card.

I did however install the Nissan iPod module, from Everythingg35, recently and now I can play any of my 3500 songs all easily controlled through the cars head unit controls and OEM LCD. I have the choices of playing by Playlist, Artist, Album, Song, Genre. I can also control iPod setup features such as repeat and shuffle through the car controls.
One other thing is that I can use it to watch movies I have ripped from my DVD collection to iPod mp4.
The iPod is powered on/off with ignition and remains fully charged. You never need to touch the iPod while it's connected so it remains out of sight, always.
When I go for a walk I just grab my iPod, plug in a set of headphones and enjoy. I can't plug headphones into my CF card, there's no hole.
So...this iPod stuff is not all that bad either, wouldn't you agree a little?

in the 07 it was separate from the Nav Pack.
Edit: You are correct. I see in the US you can still purchase them as separate Nav and/or Tech packages and tech no longer has these music features.
Again, we get the shaft up here. I guess they figure two similar people on opposite sides of an invisible line wouldn't want the same option choices.
