So how did you guys go about getting the Infiniti Rear spoiler? Did you order it specially, did they have it in inventory pre-installed on your car or did you have to go down to services and have it installed specifically?

If you had to have it installed by Infiniti how much extra did it cost? I'm taking delivery on my g35xS on Wed but I really wanted the rear spoiler. He suggested just having Infiniti installing it kind of like an aftermarket product.

Its not a factory installed option. It gets installed at the dealer before delivery.
Have the dealer install it.
I believe it around $550 installed

does anyone have any pictures or recommendations of their installed spoiler? What is the guarantee from the dealer if this is installed? How do they hook up the light is it just jumpered off the brake Lights? Is it led as well?

It can be from the factory, see the options list at infiniti.com and do a build your G, it's an option only with the Sport and Premium.

spoiler sealed the deal for me...i love the look of it....definatly have the dealer do the install....see if you can't have them work it into your deal and get it done for free....some dealers are willing to go that extra mile for you...some aren't

Have to agree, it makes the look of the car! Mine was added by the dealer as part of the deal.

Splah guards can be selected when building online as well but that doesn't mean they are factory installed.
When ordered from the factory, splash guards are installed at the dock.
Spoilers are installed at the dealership during prep. They are not factory installed.

Incorrect.

The spoilers are added on before the dealer gets the car. If it is on the window sticker, it was a factory option.

I'm so glad they didn't. IMO the spoiler completely ruins the flow of the car. I bought a euro style lip spoiler which I think looks 10000 times better.

Weird... my dealer here in RI states the opposite.
I love the information given to us from dealers.
Ask 2 dealers, get two different answers.

"Hello everyone, I want the spoiler without paying for it. Therefore, I'm going to complain about a problem where none exists."

Packages are only a problem when they include things you don't want, in order to get things you do want.

Install yourself for much less...
https://g35driver.com/forums/v36-interior-exterior-lighting/200265-i-installed-factory-style-spoiler-108-a.html

I wanted an OEM style spoiler, but didn't want to pay about $800 at my local dealer, so I went with a much less expensive option.

No problems at all since I installed it about 3-4 months ago.

Yeah I was told also that the spoiler was a factory installed item when I purchased mine. They quoted me $550 if I wanted one.

550 from the factory.

It can always be added as a dealer option, but I'd recommend getting it from the factory to save you cash.... our cost on the spoiler is higher than the factory option... (shipping on oversize item from japan, sending it out to get painted, etc)
