So i Just got my credit card bill (which i pay off every month to avoid any finance charge) and noticed i had a balance of 490 dollars....

I basically use this card ONLY for gas... and i drive a lot... but 500 DOLLARS!! Please dont threadcrap this is not about how BMW or Lexus is better at gas MPG, or anything like that.

I just think it may be time for a 2.5 liter engine in the G's??

Or maybe there is now a market for a G20 sized car...

We all know the small cars never sold in the past, but now in this day and age, where a Yaris is selling (when an Echo could not) we are seeing more Versa's, Sentras, Corollas, etc on the road, is it time??

Could Infiniti stand to introduce a smaller road car, for people who need relief at the pump.?

We hear about how Europe pays higher prices at the pump BUT THEY DONT DRIVE AS MUCH AS US! and we are more reliant on our cars, and need them since we dont have a proper public transportation infustructure in most parts of the country.

The days of the Excursion are over, it is now the day of the Mini, the TSX diesel, the G20 days may be here.

If Inifiniti could make a smaller car, the size of a Sentra loaded and fun to drive like a Mini, and bundle it with a peppy 4 cyl, that can give 30 + mpg on the highway, i would be sold.

I know people are going to come up and say, if you can afford a luxury car, pay for the gas, but PEOPLE!! since when did filling a luxury car with gas, mean spending MORE on gas than the payment.

I LOVE MY CAR as much as the next "driver" but is it time for some more options??

I would NEVER sell my car, but a nice luxury car that respects gas, for the majority of people that do not drive their cars WOT, would be nice.

It may not even be for me, but if enough people that dont need the big engine got these, it would reduce the demand, and in turn decrease the price, or the dependancy we have wiht the Mid East.....

I dont know, but maybe this is just a rant, my car cost more than my apt to keep... and that is not fun...

just think of it like this...for every G there is out there paying 500 in gas there is about 2-3 SUV paying double that so were caught in the middle of the SUV and 4 CYLINDRES.

 

Oh i am with you on that, i LOVE my car, but seriously.. if my sister wanted a nice car, i would have to buy her a mini to avoid the pump... y cant we get nissan to make a car that people would like inside too?? and save gas??

I am 23 and in my 7 years, i have watched the price of gas go up 4X ... so ...

I mean i drive a ****load... but still ... lol... i would like to see someone make a difference on the mpg's

well im in the middle east and i have a 2003 G sedan...i filled her up about an hour ago and i paid 26.20 for a full tank of 96 OCTANE!!!!!!

 

i dont even look at my gas bill anymore....

 

ohhh and some FREAKING PAKISTANI REVERSED INTO MY FRONT BUMPER!!!!!!!!! GDAMMIT...thats another whole story tho

Let me ask you something, in dubai' are pakistani's the equivalent to mexican's in America.

Hispanic people before you think I made a racist comment, understand that here in america hispanics do a lot of the manual labor so I always wonder if that is what it is like in Dubai.

I am pakistani (my parents are from there and grew up there) so I always wonder how that works....

i hear ya about the gas...i spend about 280/month. 500 is outrageous, but like the guy mentioned above...the real people who are hurting are the H2 drivers and stuff of that nature.
