I took it in for service today.

They test drove it several times and looked at the brakes, pads, and rotors. They said everything looked normal. So i guess i'll just need to adjust to the feel that's so different from my 325xi.

Wish everyone else good luck solving their issues with the brakes.

Took mine in for service yesterday and they turned the rotors for me. Only 12,000 miles and needed to have the rotors turned, not encouraging. Up side, I guess, is that they did it for free...

Yeah I've heard nothing but great things about Infiniti of Chantilly. I considered buying my Infiniti from them but they were smart...they wouldn't give me a quote via email and wanted me to come visit knowing I'd just take their quote and use it to convince other dealerships to beat that price without ever having to leave my desk.

The other dealerships in the Metro DC area were not as clever.

I've got about 16,000 miles on my car. Original rotors and pads, still brakes just fine. I will say when I first got the car, I was bothered by the occassional vibrations...about 10 seconds later I realized what the cause was.

Having 10" subwoofers a few inches away from the brake pedal will cause them to vibrate if you just so happen to be listening to your music loud enough.
