Yes... your car is going to blow up

Motors are taken to redline right after production, you have nothing to worry about

You're definitely still going to be alright. Try not to stress over the details.

Try not to . Your car is not going to blow-up. Actually, you should do more of this: followed by this , and this . Relax my friend!

If you think that damaged your car then mine should be like evaporated into tiny little pieces from all the redlining I did in the first 500 miles lol.

I'm actually slightly worried that I'm not pushing my car hard enough. Its only done 400km but "most" of the time it doesn't go over 4k and I'm just thinking it might not take the redlining and hard acceleration once it's passed 1,200miles

if you're flooring it and only hitting 5-6rpm then you have a real problem. take it back to the dealer at get something that has a motor that tops AT THE LEAST 10 revolutions per minute

c/n: your car is a masochist and is looking for you to treat it properly. my sti was a whips and chains kind of car and the g35 seems more like a scarves and candle wax kind of vehicle.

c/n of c/n: if it isn't missionary with crying, i don't know what it is lalala
