The highest MPH rating is going to occur while the engine is at peak torque, because at this point the engine is using the least effort to get the most reward. Doesn't really matter what the speed is, until you start factoring in aerodynamics. At least this is what I've found in my research..
Depending on what type of driving I do, I average anywhere from 15.5mpg (80% city driving, foot on the floor) to 24mpg (295 mi trip, cruise control set @~72mph the entire trip). Gas milage definitely isn't the greatest, but if you bought your G to get good gas milage, you're a damn fool.

I still don't believe that you can go pass 24mpg for the full tank. Terrain matters a lot in gas mileage. If you are going down hill on high way then you may get over 30mpg but will you be driving down hill for the full gas tank (about 350 miles)?
I myself drive very softly in the city and the best I can get is 19mpg. It is average for 3 full gas tanks. Now I doubt anybody can beat that. Show me some proofs other than just talk. BTW, the gauge on our car can only read to 25mpg not 30mpg. Also tell me how you can go pass 25mpg ?
