What I can't figure out is why the G is incapable of rolling them down all the way without multiple button presses...freakin' annoying.
Thats weird...my windows all go down all the way on the second push/hold of the unlock button.

That's interesting: Wonder if it's a) a problem with my remote(s), or b) something Nissan fixed in the new remotes EDIT:>> Yes, I still have the original '07 remotes. Getting my remotes swapped next time I go to the dealer, maybe that'll fix it

Do you still have the original remotes? Mine was apparently already exchanged (iKey recall), so perhaps the new keys do it OOB.

Just a thaught.
Is it possible that a weakened battery is the culprit?
A quick button push would not require much juice but holding and sending the signal for ~5 seconds may be too much for a weakening battery.

I wondered the same thing, but replaced my remote battery for the second time a couple of weeks ago. No difference

Motivation to get out to the dealer and get the remotes changed tho.

Interesting - I have an 08 with the new remotes - and when I hold the remote button down - mine seem to stop with the fronts about 2/3 of the way down, and the backs about halfway......

I also thought of the weak battery but have not yet tried to replace it. Another possibility is weak signal from the remote itself. I'll have to get a new battery (or try the other remote) and see what makes a difference

edit: forgot my other point. The vents under the seats are likely connected to when the vents are set to the floor or mixed settnigs........ so not sure how much AC gets back there without the rear AC vents from the console. The dash vents do blow fairly strongly on the higher settings - so if you aim the vents straight back they likely get more air to the back then what comes from the console vents

like you said, it's not a deal breaker, but it does make it nicer for folks in the back seat in the summertime

The downsides to using vents under the seats for rear passenger A/C:
1. Cold air doesn't rise
2. Your feet freeze and you can't shut it off, the driver controls them.

The under floor vents are for heat only.

My windows have always dropped all the way down with a single push of the button.
I just tried it again yesterday after a round of golf and sure enough, the windows stopped halfway and I had to hit the button again to drop them the rest of the way.
It's just a break in the signal... For whatever reason. Weak battery, maybe.

I'll rephrase this. I click the unlock, then have to click and hold the second time for the windows to go down. If I let up on the 'hold', then the windows will stop. So, I have to hold the unlock until the windows are all the way down.
