And people paying $65k on a performance sedan care about performance, NOT fuel economy.
FWIW, the FX50 gets better fuel economy than a C63 AMG mercedes sedan.

Hey guys, I have another question.
Will it be easy to negotiate price once the 09 models are in the dealership, at the first few months? (judging from the past experience on 08 models) - you know, currently I may get a deal far below the invoice from my local dealers for 08 G35. If this won't happen for the 09 G37 (and there should be a price bump for the new 09), then it will be several thousand $ difference.

There is no information about the specifications or when they will be released, there is not a waiting list for the 2009 Infiniti G37 brochure either at this time. Solid information. Thanks for posting. It's going to be a long 8 weeks waiting for the official G37 sedan news.

the 7-speed auto's are tuned more for the highway mileage to go up.
off topic but people talking about gas mileage look at the Honda Accords... they're even about 19 city--- most people get closer to city mileage but always just look at the highway mpg's
