I think I'm going to order the Recaro Signo.
I'll post how it fits when I get it installed.

Scott - save your money and dont buy a reverse facing recaro. Once your daughter hits 1yr then buy the same Recaro toddler seat. I bought the Simpson seat made by Greco for $140. looks great and solid quality

But I have a Britax infant seat now that clicks into a base and it's now too small for her even though she's only 7 mo. old. The rear facing that I'm looking at is a convertible, which means that it can face forward as well and will take her to at least 2 years. By then, my other daughter will be out of the Young Sport so the little can move over to that.
A convertible now will get me 1.5 years, so I don't see it as a waste of money.

as long as your daughter is not too tall for the britax infant seat, she should be in that seat as it is safer. if she is too tall, then a rear facing seat is the way to go, until she grows too tall. 1 yo is the minimum for front facing, not the recommended age. safety is paramount.

That's just it... she's already grown out of it. Her legs are all bunched up with her feet jammed into the seat back and her head is almost above the backrest now.
She's tall for 7 mos.

Believe me, I don't wanna change. That damn seat was $300+ and I got a lousy 7 months out of it.

I feel your pain. My boy grew out of his expensive Peg Perego seat at six months...

bummer, my infant seat lasted about 4 months b/c of height. i would recommend not worrying about the feet--it's better to have broken legs then more serious injuries. if the ears reach the top of the carseat, then the carseat is too short.

Glad to see I wasn't alone in that experience.

I'm late to the thread, an know you already ordered. I have the Como, which is the same shell. It fits just great, installs easily and I have no issues. It is a big seat, bigger than Britax I had in there, but the only real issue is the little guy pccasionlly kicking my seat when I drive - but that's probably not a seat issue as much as it is a parenting issue

We had 4 Britax Roundabouts and sold all of them when the kids grew out of them as we thought we were done. Now I'll have to go back out and buy a couple more within the next year or so.
