Recaro child car seats in the G

Hey... does anyone have a Recaro Signo in the back seat of their G?

I currently have a Recaro Young Sport for my 5 yr old daughter and it fits like it was designed for the G. It's also a top notch seat and she loves it.

I now need another seat, backward facing, for my 7 mo old daughter. I'm liking the Recaro Signo but it's not on Infiniti's Snug Kids list of tested seats. (Neither was the Young Sport)

Anyone have one, and if so, do you like the fitment?

I'll go with a Britax if necessary, but I hate the look of their seats, and honestly, the Recaros seem to be a little more comfy for the kids and are easier to clean as well.
Safety is most important, and both brands are top notch.

Anyone?
Thanks!

Can you tell me where you found this list. I don't like the way my sons booster seat sits in the car.
Thanks,
Steven

Let me know what you find out. I'm using the Young Sport as well and it fits great. My 2 year old calls it his "racing seat". I tried our Britax in the G for our 10 month old and it doesn't fit very good. The base is so wide that it won't sit level due to the seat contour. I rarely have the baby in the car but I'd like to hear if you find the Recaro fits well.

I have a Young Sport also, just turned into a booster, fit is great. Before the purshase I had a Britax Boulevard and it didn't fit very well.

One thing you can expect with Recaro is good quality. If i were you , I would get the infant seat without hesitation.

I'm not concerned with the quality... I know I'm happy with the Young Sport and wouldn't hesitate in getting another Recaro.
My concern is, how does this convertable fit while in the backward facing position.... does anyone know?
The Britax rear facing seats fit like crap.
I'm wondering if the Recaro is gonna be a better fit.

I'm hoping for a seat that can be mounted rear-facing, and still leave enough room in the front seat for a passenger.

I have the Greco Nautilus, fits great and my 11 months old loves it.
The Britex is too larg and ugly.

I have a Britax Regent that I bought for my 2.5 year old niece, and am sorry I bought it - while nice and secure for the child, it is too heavy, too large and is a poor fit in the contoured rear seat of the G. Wish I read this thread 5months ago...

We're going with the Chicco Keyfit 30, and you can get it 8 or more colors if you care.

I am so glad I found this tread.. I have a 3 week old and I have got to find a seat for her. She rides in moms altima most of the time but I want to be able to take her with me too. I have a graco for my car(minus the base) and it does not fill secure at all. I'm 6'3 and need all the leg room in the front. Please update on rear facing seats for the g that allow that most room for the front seats.

if only one child, middle seat is safest. also, i would recommend that you keep them rear facing as long as possible. too many ppl mistakenly switch to front facing at 1yo, thinking that it is required or that the kid likes to look out. safety should come first.

www.thecarseatlady.com is a great resource.
