same for me...going in Monday with ITB

 

Mine only happens on radio stations only. All my XM presets work fine but my radio presets wont scroll. Is this the same for anyone else?

 

all my cds, changer, flash drive work fine... mine is ONLY preset A1...if I go down it gets stuck....if I go up it skips over it

hmm my radio is set on preset B and thats where i am having my problems right now. Im going to go try and set XM stations on preset B and see if it still happens.

Im selling the G to get back into supras I may have found a way to keep both

 

wow. this just started happening to me today as well. i'm gonna try out your tips as well.
my preset will go to A3, then completely drop the "3" part. i tried presetting A3 again, but no luck.
i DID just get an LG Dare and sync'ed up the bluetooth with the car.... odd
kinda weird that this is all happening to all of us at the same time....

 

dealer is ordering me a new unit.... this is going to be my 3 in the car, ANNOYING have to rerip cds to the hard drive errrrr

 

Wow it happend to me today!!!! Do they need to take dash board apart to replace AV unit??

 

I have this same problem as well. But I noticed one thing, it only happens after I hit a preset that has RDS. Anyone else notice the same thing? Guess I'll bring it up with the dealer next time I'm there.

 

that's annoying to reload CDs again.

this is nav only and sounds like the problem is occurring fairly recently and close together. wonder if it is related to some signal received by these units.

 

ME too!!! wow this started a few days ago...i thought it was incredibly weird..guess its common

 

Just came back from the dealer. The part that needs to be replaced is on backorder. Dealer said a bunch of people are coming in for the same issue.

 

Damn that sucks, I am supposed to bring the car to the dealer tommorrow morning. Did they tell you how long the part is backordered for?

 

Nope. No eta. I'll give them the rest of this week. Hopefully, they'll have it by Monday.

 

if u have an 07, you should ask if they can get the 08 head unit withthe ipod control. might be a nice upgrade

 

I've noticed this with different stations. I think it has something to do with the RDS signal broadcast from certain stations. It must knock out the unit's recognition of the station (frequency) and have it deselect the preset. If you hit the up/down toggle fast enough, you can get by the "stuck" station. Not sure if this is a big enough problem to warrant such an invasive "fix".
