Thats about it....LOL. I know I could have fixed it by resetting the station, but screw the dealers. I'll take a free replacement part any day.

i agree with beezy619 with screwing the dealer and replacing the unit....we did pay alot for our cars why not replace something under warranty while we still have it. Also what phone do you have paired with your car because im i've been having a problem with my phone sounding like people are talking underwater and not being able to hear me. When i use the bluetooth i have to go through some steps to make it work correctly.

C2 and C4 Presets no longer working

I just noticed that this started happening. A1-A6 and B1-B6 I have programmed to XM stations. C1-C6 are local radio.

Presents A & B are fine. Not C. When I use the switch scroller on the steering wheel or the circle silver **** on the radio unit...

it scrolls from C1 to C2, then once it gets to C2, the highlighter selection bar disappears. Then when i go to scroll C3, it starts back on C1. It also does this when i select C4.

The car is '08 and less than 4 months old.

Yep its the same for me too. My XM stations are on preset a and c and my local radio stations are on B and I cant scroll the the B presets. Just print out the pdf on the first page and take it with you to the dealer.

Interesting that it is happening all at once. This just happend to me too.
I'm going to try redo the presets rather than have the dealer tear up my dash. I am fearfull of future rattles.
I wonder what else is new in the AV control unit? BTW, what is an AV Control Unit? Is it everything behing the radio?

ha! well I noticed this problem yesterday on my 08 G as well. I haven't drove it for two weeks and on my way home I noticed it.... It's very strange that this is happening to all of us at around the same time. Coincidence? hmmmmm

I will try resetting my presets and see what happens as I rather not have them tear up my dash.. I hate that!

Alright just got the car back from the dealership. I had to change couple of the options back to the way I had it. Like previously stated, all my music was gone and my address book was deleted as well. You will get your original nav version. Mine was 07-08. I originally had XM but didnt pay extra for the NavTraffic but now I have both. My radio ID changed as well so I will have to call XM to update my information. All my presets work as well so if you have any other questions let me know!

Glad to hear everything worked out... They did a good job installing? No scratches? I'm very picky about pepole working on my car and im afraid that they will scratch something.. yeah i know.. i worry too much.. but then again, im paying good money out of my pocket for this car. hehe

I forgot to mention one thing in my last post. After the install my XM signal has been very weak. It keeps coming on and off. If it doesnt improve, I guess the car is making another trip to the dealership.
As far as the install, i think they did a good job with the fix. Just like you I am very very picky when it comes to my car. The only thing i noticed was a slight indention on the washi aluminum on the very left bottom corner. Im assuming this is where they inserted the tool to pull the trim off. I might just bring it up with them and see if they will replace it but overall they did great.
