Thanks. The dealer said I should get the car in December. Good luck with your transaction too!

As this is a car for my wife's daily transportation, the additional HP of the 37 does not matter too much to me obviously (after saying that, I officially feel old). Besides, when driving the 37 coupe I could not feel any notable difference. The 7-speed auto is cool, but for a daily 6-mile commute on city streets I am not sure we would even see much advantage to that. We will probably keep the car 2-3 years.

Do you guys think that the 4500 under invoice would counteract the drop in resale value that will be realized when the G37 sedan comes out? I know it is all speculation, but you guys would have a more educated guess than me.

I imagine the dealer really wants to unload the car so I am possibly debating to increase the offer of 1500 under invoice (before the 3K incentive) to 2 or 2500 to sweeten the deal.

Any opinions?

Thanks!

If you don't mind me asking, which dealer in ATL did you get that quote? I'm looking around and need to check that out myself.

Thanks.

Go see Chris Vineyard at Nalley Infiniti in Marietta, or Daryl Feguson at Nalley in Decatur. I was quoted Journey premium, nav and splash guards for $35,000 (+tax, doc, etc) then either 0.9% or $3000 rebate.

That is the man - Chris is the new car manager at Nalley Infiniti in Marietta and they are working some great deals.

So, what happened to the other G? Hopefully rates will be better for you in Dec as well. I'm gonna take a hit here in a couple of weeks.

I hydroplaned on the freeway, spun out, got hit by an Accord, flipped over a couple of times and landed upside down on the roof. Hanging by the seatbelt was an interesting experience. It sucks that the car was totalled but the safety devices did their job and I was able to walk away from the wreck with a few cuts, bruises and a mild concussion.

The credit market is tight right now but then again so is the market for gas guzzling, entry level luxury cars. Infiniti should have low interest rate financing or other incentives for the 09's by Nov/Dec. If not, I'll just pay cash.

So did you order it at MSRP or did they just make up a number that they knew they would be satisfied with. For instance: let’s say the true MSRP was $35,000. They would definitely sell it to you for $800 less than MSRP even if it is a brand new model.

If they truly sold it to you at MSRP then the G37 is an outstanding deal over the G35 and I think you are crazy for paying MSRP.

Something I've noticed during the past week about the stealerships - I've been looking for some price and option info on the 09 G's and couldn't get ANY solid information from ANY dealerships that I called in regards to pricing and options. The reason for this is that NO ONE actually knows definitive information of how the cars will be optioned and priced as of yet. Anyone that says they have some "inside information" pricing or option packaging about the 09 G's is full of it.
