Same here

I had the same lock-up late last week. Had my car since Dec and this was the first time its happened. Like the others have said, I couldn't get it to clear up by just turning the car off and back on, so I just decided to drive it as is. Less than 5 mins later, it rebooted, the infiniti logo displayed, and then all was well.

Hasn't happened since, but its only been a few days. As you can see in my sig, I do have an 08 with the Prem/Nav combo.

The one occurrence is the only issue I have had so far with this car. Knowing others are also experiencing this doesn't give me any warm fuzzies that it will not happen again, even if it has been 7 months since the one time.

Good luck with the replacement, let us know what happens.
I Know that it hasnt been a while but my nav screen has been fine since i got the unit replaced for the presets not scrolling. Its only been a week but ill keep you guys updated.

After a year...

I'm now starting to have the same issue with this. I drive an 07 model, but with my situation, instead of locking up, the computer now takes about 20 sec. to load instead of the usual sec or two. Hopefully, knock on wood, the system won't crash on me. Hate driving loaner cars.
