I'm not sure if it's different w/ Nav, but I just push the "A/C" button (the orange light will go off).

Yeah, I just hit the "A/C" button and the light turns off. I now have free flowing air coming in from outside which I like on cool days.
You can then hit the "+" or "-" buttons to get the fan to speed up or slow down.

When i turn off my car i always make sure to turn the A/C off. But i have noticed that when you turn the A/C off the vents open and are free to outside air. So when there are humid days out i would get in the car after work and it was muggy and humid as hell in the car. So now i turn the A/C off and shut the vents before i get out. But yep, all you got to do is turn it off.

Good Point.

To take it one further,I always turn the A/C off about 5 minutes before I get to my destination. This allows enough time for the fan to run and dry out any condensation left in the system from running the A/C.
This avoids the musty mildew smell, coming from the A/C vents, that occurs over time.

That's a very good tip Aeson. A lot of people don't understand how AC works. I always turn it off before shutting down. It's probably better for the car, that it's off, when you start it up again too.

Doesn't seem to work like that.. When I hit the A/C off the light goes off, and then I try to increase the fan by pressing the +, the A/C light comes back on.. I wonder if I have a problem with the unit..

Well, I tried holding the recirc button for a few seconds and they did blink but when I pressed the fan + or fan - button, the air conditioner came on again.. I guess there is something wrong with the unit and at my next service, I'll let them know..

thanks

This happens for me to, but to make it work when i have the AC on. i need to hit the A/C button and the light's go off. Then i need to hit +/- button and the AC light will come back on but if you hit the AC button again then click +/- it should work fine....Is this not the way it's suppose to work? I tried it on my friends g37 coupe and it's the same way.
