Thinking of converting from Audi, drove 08 G35XS .. will there be delay on G37S

Dealer told me that he does not know when the G37XS will roll out, could possibly be a couple months after intro. Is he just trying to get me to pull trigger on 2008 ... or is this a possibility?

You will most likly get a better deal on the 08.

Unless you really want that seven speed auto or the 328hp motor (which isnt really adding that much more performance)

We have an 08 xS. It is a great car.

Thanks wannabe, but I was wondering if anyone heard about a delay in the S option/version of the G37. Just trying to get my facts straight so I can make a informed decision.

there is a delay to have the 2008 inventory more before the 2009's will arrive. i know plenty of dealers that have too much inventory remaining

Sorry if I did not explain well ... I understand that G37 is a little delayed. But dealer is telling me that Sport Package may NOT be available in initial rollout, anyone hear this

Klab0001, you probably would have gotten the answer you were looking for if you named the title "WTF Infiniti isnt making G37xS sedans?" that way people would come and say "thats BS they will be here in xx weeks or xxx months".

i believe someone on this forum already purchased a G37x with the optional sport package. This is what you should do: wait it out a little longer and see what happens when the car is released or you can call Nissan/Infiniti directly and see what they say.

If are you driving a 07 Audi A4 2.0T why would you wanna get rid of that?

I lease my cars and the Audi is up in Dec. I really like the Audi product and have ordered a 09 A4 ... but I am guessing that the lease rates will be terrible as Audi's lease rates have been trending up. Plus I have always been attracted to the value of the G-line, and current G35's are so discounted.

If you are only leasing, you will get a killer deal on an 08 especially since the body is not changing much.

I would really consider the 08 as an option over the 09 and get the 11 when it comes out.

4000 dollar rebate speaks for itself.

There is actually $3K dealer cash or .9% finacning then an addiitonal $1K rebat on top of that. So if you get your own decent financing then you get $4K off, otherwise $1K off and .9% and seeing as many dealers are selling at invoice that is a sweet deal!

You will get that discount as a starting point with the G37! That's why dealers have been pushing the 08s and they have delayed the G37.

People who just sprang for the 08s are going to be pissed.
