Fantastic lease deal 08 G w/ prem / nav

As mentioned in one of my other posts, I wanted to share the lease deal that I just agreed to. With the '09s sitting in port waiting for '08s to go, there are deals to be had.

2008 G35 premium & nav
MSRP: $38710

42 months
10k / year
$990 cap reduction
$0 security deposit
normal doc fees / title fees

LEASE PAYMENT => $379 / month + tax

I may bump up to 12k / year for another $9/ month. have the weekend to decide.

Compare that to the $550 - $700 / month I was quoted on the C300, 328, A4, IS 350.

That looks good to me I just picked up mine last Friday(1 week old) WHOO!
I got 39 months at $350 with 2500 out of pocket.Oh its a G35X-S. Congrats this car was the best choice I made, I was also looking at the C300 and IS, LOL. C300 was the same money but I did not like 228hp.

Nice deal.
But I would go up to 12K as you realize 10K is very low once you get into the G!!

I have signed 2 months ago for 2008 G35 premium

24 months
10k / year
0$ cap reduction
$0 security deposit
usual doc fees / title fees / tax

LEASE PAYMENT => $399 / month

Both nice deals, I think they are getting ready for the 09's and we are seeing some great pricing.

What he said... i got 18k a year and thought i would be WAY under and it turns out i REALLY like driving my G so i take it everywhere...

There is nothing worse than coming to the end of a lease and not being able to drive your car without feeling like an idiot that you didn't buck up ahead of time.

Either way congrats on the new car....(i would have went with OB though!!)

An extra ~416 miles/month allowance for only $18/month!? Considering how much going over the mileage will cost you per mile, just pay the $18/month now and put your mind at ease.

I only would do it if your are going to turn it in. I know that when our term is up we are keeping the car. So we went with less miles to start cause there is no worry about going over miles + we do not drive anywere. I take public transportation to work and my wife's work is only 10 miles round trip.

I just got an '08 G35X with Nav, Premium and Tech, with an MSRP of $41,330. Leasing for 36 months, no cap reduction, 10,000 miles/yr., no security deposit, tax rolled into lease; just tags, several small fees and first payment resulting in total out-of-pocket of $865. My payment is $500/month. I believe this to be a good deal.

+1,000,000

My G is my weekend car, and I find myself going for 200 mile drives virtually every saturday with nice weather. You WILL put serious mileage on this car, especially if you really enjoy driving. I have 12K p.y. and without driving it 5 or 6 days a week, i am at 11,250 with 7 days to the 1 year mark.

Bump up to AT LEAST 12K. You wont be able to not drive it if you are tight on mileage, and it is so much cheaper up front.

OIDVOID: Do you mean that your Cap cost on the lease is the sticker price that was on the vehicle?????

If so, I'd look into that. You just got an 08?? These should be 3K under sticker EASY. I got my 07 on Oct 24 last year, and got almost 5K off sticker.

So to really tell you if you're getting a good deal or not, I need to know the MF and cap cost.

The $1k down bothers me (never put money down on a lease).

The Invoice is ~$35,000. Take the $4,000 rebates, down to $31,000. Cap cost reduction, you're financing 30,000.

If you buy, for 60 months, that's $562.71 (4.75% at Penfed).

Using these rates:
24 Month – Residual 53% of MSRP – .00280 Base Rate
36 Month – Residual 53% of MSRP – .00098 Base Rate
48 Month – Residual 46% of MSRP – .00147 Base Rate
60 Month – Residual 40% of MSRP – .00200 Base Rate
Residuals posted are for 15K miles/year. Add 2% to Residual for 12k mi/yr and 3% for 10k mi/yr on all terms

@ 10k miles, 36 months, 6.5% sales tax, I calculate your lease payment should be: $300 a month. I used this calculator: http://www.leaseguide.com/calc.htm

I don't think that $380/month + tax is that good a deal.

(Personally I wouldn't lease a car for more than 36 months, but that's your perogative).

there's no rebate on the leasing, only if you buy cash

No, what I was saying is that I didn't put any money down to reduce the cap cost. I never put money down when I lease...doesn't make sense. My current lease is based on an agreed upon selling price of approx. $36,200 + $595 acquisition fee + 6% MD state tax. I paid $866 cash at signing and was out the door with the car.

I don't think state sales taxes should factor in to a price when the dealer technically hasn't sold anything to anyone.
