I'm having problems getting the titles for my music box, any help would be appreciated. When I click Search Titles I get a file access failed error. Any suggestions?
Thanks.

If you mean adding titles to the songs, there's a Gracenote program you can download from the Infiniti website. You'll need a CF card in order to save the title information off your PC, and then transfer it using the title updater in the Music Box.
If you're trying to search by title, I didn't know we could do that.

No something is wrong with the system, its not creating the export file properly. I'll just leave it alone, its not worth the trouble. Thanks for your help.Originally Posted by airhoppz

Oh okay yeah I forgot about the export file as well. Sounds like you might want to take it in. Worse comes to worst...name 'em yourself Originally Posted by pcam207

When you uploaded your songs what did you use? an mp3 cd? because mine wont even let me upload songs to the music box with an mp3 cd.
P.S I hardly know how to use the music box because i find plugging in an ipod is alot more convient.

It only works with audio cd's you can burn your songs to a cd-r. I agree with you the ipod is more convenient and has less restrictions. The music box loses half the options when you are driving which is pretty annoying. Its just good to have some of the favorites on the music box just in case you don't have the ipod that day. I'm not sure if this is the same thing, but I recently recorded a few CDs to the Music Box and the titles were not established for 2 CDs.
I followed the steps outlined here: http://www.infiniti.com/music-update/ and didn't have success at first. I then did the same but used a different CF card and the titles were finally available.

OK Guys here it is - Right click the TitleInfoSearch update program and select "Run as Administrator" when starting it up.
