I have more than just several AWD's ordered for guys across the country. Some are being shipped out to them, others are flying in to drive the car home.

I can do either or What exactly are you interested in?

On a side note, I did get a prm/nav/sport 09 in today that came on a truck full of ordered cars

Fringe benefit of having so many ordered is that they'll throw in an un-ordered car or two to fill up the truck.

Wow, thanks for the quick help!

I'm looking for a Black Obsidian with Graphite/Washi G37xS AWD. Premium/Sport/Nav packages and the Illuminated Kick-plates as well as the Midnight Black Grill.

For the front chin spoiler I'm looking for is the one on (what I would call) pages 2 & 3 of the 09 G sedan catalog - I think you sell it as the V36 front spoiler. In the "Build Your Own" section of the Infiniti website I think it's the $490 option.

For the rear spoiler I'd like the one on (roughly) pages 30 & 31 of the printed catalog - again I think you call this the V36 rear spoiler. I definitely don't want the one on pages 14 & 15, the one that actually stands up off the trunk lid.

I'm 50/50 on the Splash Guards for the Sport - can they just be taken off for a stock appearance?

I can do with/without the glass alarm, and the other stuff (net, trunk matt, winter floormats).

I'm about 85% sure of the Black Obsidian. I'd be interested in the Liquid Platinum (maybe without the Midnight Black Grill...).

Again thanks for your reply.

Quick one - I think the rear spoiler I'd like is the $550 option in the "Build Your Own" website section, not the $520 one.

Thanks.

Dealers typically don't order cars that are loaded up with 'extras'. Looks like more than likely, you'll be ordering your car. If you want both the spoiler (not the 'floatin' one, but the coupe style one) and the front chin spoiler, you want the Aero package, as you'll save a few bucks.

Splash guards can be taken off.

to sum up:

09 G37xS
Prm/Nav/Sport
Aero/splash guards (sport)/Kickplates/Grill

Give me a call if you want to order one.

most dealers are not ordering cars w/ front chinspoilers... the general non-modding public think it's childish

Many, many thanks for that info. The Aero package I would choose (in the "Build Your Own" section) to get the front and rear spoilers I want would be the only Aero option left after choosing the Prem/Sport/Nav packages, no?

A cross-country trip has really struck a chord - fly in with just a full iPod, camera, sunglasses and a road atlas and enjoy the trip back in the exact car I wanted. Wow...

We did, it's now the main family daily driver. I'm looking for a seasonal car for myself that I can mod, and I'm so impressed with the G35xS sedan that the G37xS is now the frontrunner over the G37 coupe (no paddle shifters on the x model???) and the other sport coupes and muscle cars I was looking at. And it's cheaper too... I drove the G37x coupe yesterday and I'm digging the 7AT (but not the auto doorlocks when you put it in gear )

I just caught da mayor's location I'll have to contact him and see what's up.

Funny how you're looking for an AWD and I'm looking for a RWD, seems as if we live on the opposite sides of where we're most likely to find the cars we want, cause there's ONLY AWDs here in the NE where I live.

If NE = the NorthEast and not Nebraka (!) I'm in the NE myself, down in southern CT. Travelling 6,000 miles to get a car is doable if I made it into a vacation, which would be cool to do. I feel your pain though trying to find a RWD G37 sedan - dealers around here don't even stock non-AWD sedans, or do so very rarely or by request.

Are you going to order one local or travel to get your RWD?

Awesome that you fell in love with the G enough to get another one In fact, if I had the $, I'd get another too.
I too was surprised that the '09 G37x coupe wasn't offered in a Sport package. I'd suggest you wait on the sport package or else you are going to spend the extra $ that I did for the paddles and aluminum pedals.
Anyway, GL w/ the search and hopefully you will be able to find your G37xS soon

If I don't find it somewhere in the warmer climates of the country then yes, I'll have to order it. The only thing is that I refuse to give the dealership any $ until the end of December/Beginning of January because the $ will just sit there not being used for anything since they can't place any factory orders until then. I'll keep looking to see if something comes up to that point.

Right, that is how I understood it. Please let us know when the situation changes.

@ G35xQX1 - thanks. The paddle shifters are addictive as hell, but I really dig the seats included in the Sport AWD package the most.

@rx794 - I've decided to do something similar - wait until after the holidays, contact the best dealers I can find and give them the specs I'm looking for, and go with the best overall deal I can get.

Now I take I95 south to Jacksonville, Fla, turn right onto I10 and take it west for about 3000 miles...
