Is the LCD screen.

a touch screen if you DON'T have nav?

my guess would be YES. It's not a different screen, it just doesn't have the nav program installed. Should still be touch screen.

fwiw, I almost NEVER use the touch screen, always use the controller. my salesman told me that after repeated use of touching the screen, you'll eventually get finger marks on the screen (that can't be cleaned off)

No, there not touch screens. The loaners I get from the dealerships are all base models with no navi.

It's not a touch screen unless you have Nav. You can touch the non-nav screen all day and nothing will happen, except you will have a screen with fingerprints all over it.

Microfiber towel works wonder. Just went one corner, clean LCD screen. Then wipe it with the dry end and it'll be like new.

i use the stuff i bought at best buy when i bought my big screen.
it makes it so dust wont be atracted to the screen and it does work
and of course a micro fiber towel lol

The screens are different.
