Really wish Infiniti woudl just blow out the remaing 08's with the $4K AND 0.9% that would persuade me to go pick up an 08.

I got the following quote from a dealer in the Chicago area: '08 G35x blue slate with the graphite interior, premium, navigation and the rosewood trim package.

MSRP: $40,680
Dealer asking price (w/o any negotiation from my side): $33,680 with the cash rebate OR $36,680 with 0.9% apr for 60 months

While there seems to be some more room for negotiation, I guess Infiniti needs to get more aggressive...

Hi...thats where I bought my 08 Journey back in June. IIRC, they still have hail damaged( likely all repaired now) inventory. If I could have waited til now, man, I would have gotten a much better deal on a G. However, at the time they had few "fresh" vehicles to choose from. Probably no 09s in stock right now, either.

Rebate

1000 cash to buyer 3000 or .9 percent financing 60 months. I picked up my 08 G35X with premium and Nav for 35101 & .9% for 60 months 1 week ago.
I can't believe I'm supposed to keep it under 4k rpms for 800 more miles

In the Chicago market, try Fields Infiniti - their internet team gave me prices at about 8k off of MSRP as a starting point on a couple of different combos.

December '08 incentives at Edmunds.com

This is what I found....

1.) APR: 0% or 0.9%

2.) $1000 marketing support: $1000 Sell Down Bonus Cash available on the 2008 G35 Sedan models.

3.) $3000 marketing support: $3000 Dealer cash may not be combined with 0% APR - 0.90 % APR and vehicle must be financed through the manufacturer's captive finance company.

So, I guess nothing has changed since November..right?

I'm shocked they didn't up the ante and combine 0.9 and $3K, but I guess they are holding out for a good December as most dealers say it is a good month, but with only 08's to sell I don't know that is a wise move. I think last week of December there will be some awesome deals if sales are still down as dealers try to get inventory off the books and take the write-offs in 08.

It is pretty surprising they haven't changed it in months. Maybe they have some secret master plan we haven't figured out yet.

The current incentives go thru 1/05/09 according to edmunds, so i think the "last week of december" would include all the way thru that monday. However, with the incentives staying the same, you're really counting on your dealership being willing to take a loss. The deals will be very location specific.

I think Lisle would have a biger stock than Fields. They probally want to dump them.

I think Lisle does at this point. The issue I had was Lisle wouldn't give me a quote, just said they'd beat any other quote by $200. When I ask for a quote, I expect one - so I didn't bother with them )

Lisle and motorwerks are playing the same game, in that they will undercut any other offer by a few hundred, but wont give me a quote. Fields gave me a solid quote of an 08 g35X w/ PP, Sport, Nav for $33,125 w/ rebates or $36,125 w/ .9% apr. Should be getting it soon

Lisle even asked me to put a deposit down on a car that had yet to be negotiated so they could hold it for me.
