Yes you can, on the MusicBox screen, hit "Menu" (it'll be on the bottom left of the screen), then scroll to "Edit Playlists" or something like that, select the playlist you want to edit, select the song, and retype the information.

It's a bit time consuming.

For retail CD's, some CD's bother burning the song info, some don't. If you're burning your own CD through, say, iTunes, there's an option before you start burning to "Include CD Text", by default this is set to off, simply place a checkmark in it and it will include all necessary song information.

Musicbox > Nav in my opinion. I absolutely love musicbox. Disassociated with Nav it's worth a lot of money for me which makes the $2k nav expense a no brainer.

Musicbox sounds better than 132kbps.. but i'm believe it when you all say it compresses the music. I like it, great feature.

Hey thanks. I made a few albums from MP3s and made sure they all had CD text--all turned out great. I'm starting to load up my Music box after 2 years of ownership and not even using it! Like it so far, except the album navigation.

album navigation isn't that bad. just twist the small round **** on the right. you really get into it better when you select tracks into the various 4 choices of playing by mood... i get a nice mix in each of the 4 groups

I use nero. It'll import ID3 tags for song CD text but you can also edit the CD text manually as well.

Man!!! Just as I was getting into the groove of recording music to Music Box, my CD player now does not read. It accepts a CD and just gets stuck on "Reading Disc". I've tried retail CDs and same thing. Anyone have this happen? I hope it's a simple fix.

might be slightly off-topic, but did anyone ever get a definitive answer on whether or not the 08 iPod module can be fit to the 07? It's been almost two years since the 07 has been released.

Well, my "disc read error" is gone! I just tried loading a retail CD a few times, and then it started working. The only thing I can think of is it didn't like CDRW discs I was using to load up the music box. Is it still true CDRW (or burnt CDs) in general can fubar the CD player? I wouldn't think so being that the CD player plays MP3s.
