Hey quick, Q... installed my GTSPEC FSTB last night!

Problem:
I couldn't tighten the Allen wrench portion of the vertical adjustment bolts that secure the brace bar to the mounts.... anyone know what size allen wrench these bolts take?

It was a lot bigger than my standard 1/4 Allen, is it more like a 5/16th or bigger?
Here is a link to the bolt I'm talking about.

I need to go to the store and buy an allen wrench big enough to torque it down a little bit more than just my hand tightening method.

Initial impressions of FSTB:
Much better front handling when going around corners at higher speeds (30 mph +) is where you really notice the difference, and I only have the FSTB. Seems like the front is planted, I'm thinking about getting the tanabe front sway bar and ditching the Stillen front sway bar. I think the Stillen was/is good over stock but not stiff enough for my liking.

thanks!

I use a 5/16" allen, but an 8 mm should also work. Your best off getting an allen head with 3/8" drive for your socket wrench, so you can get enough torque on it... this is what I use along with a 17mm box wrench on th nut side.

Here's the Allen / Hex bit socket that I use:

But this one should work too:

LOL... I actually haven't been on yet this week. Just happened to get on the forum just now, so the timing was right.

No tune yet.. Unfortunately the tuner I was going to never was able to rear my ECU, so I'm gonna try a different tuner this week and see if they have any more luck with it. Thanks for asking, though.

^ I'm actually hoping to have it all done at the same time... Just waiting for the shop to call me back and to let me know if they can get me in this week or not.

Get the Hotchkis sway bars! They are by far the best bang for the buck mod I have done so far... you will not be disappointed.

Intensepower.com has hotchis sways for $345 to your door. They are on back order until next week from my discussion with them two days ago. I can't wait to get mine!
