The existing harness should be able to work from our light now I think. When I called a Nissan dealer in Tokyo, they said all I would need is the light fixtures. However, a dealer not telling the complete story is not uncommon so I could have been given bad info.

A hint for those thinking about this mod ... the white connector/harness will have to be moved from your car to the new lights. Removing the white connector from the red housing is a PITA. I don't think it can be done without breaking it off.
I did mine as a swap with harness, so no breakage needed.

Makes sense now. The rev lights on the trunk lid are the same so those are not needed.

Wait, so if you buy that housing it has no harness? The dealer I talked to in Tokyo made it seem like it was plug and play, he literally told me that I had to disconnect my housings, and reconnect the new ones. He made it seem like it was a 15 minute job that anyone could do.
I do know for sure the harness has it's own part number. I have two spare harnesses in my garage I bought from from Riverside Infiniti.

Thanks for the advice there, ill pick up 2 harnesses next time I am at my local dealer. They are rather simple to install right? I am not too mechanically inclined, but it seems easy enough.

The harness itself is easy to install, but why not wait to see if the JDM light some with the harness? If it does, no need to buy new harness' (they are expensive). Also no need remove the harness from the old lights. You can then sell the old lights as a complete assembly.
