We have some on order from Japan guys, they've been on backorder for a few months, but we should have some soon I hope. I was able to get the G37 Coupe Tails, but it took us sometime to sale them.

For some reason, the older G coupe and sedans we're able to sale more JDM parts to them like the tails, emblems, kickplates etc. But for the new sedans and G37 Coupe, we can't move that much JDM parts for them? I guess people think they're paying top $$ for an Infiniti and don't want the car to be affiliated with a Nissan???

They won't look the same. Even if you replace the bulb with the amber ones.... they won't look amber at all. Just look at those pictures above... you'll understand what I mean.

^^ Yup, the bulbs for USDM and JDM are both clear. The lens makes the color.

The difference between the USDM and JDM tails is the JDM version has an amber turn signal whereas the USDM version has a red turn signal.

During normal operation with just the tail lights on, they both look the same with two circles of red LED lights on each side.

During braking, the LEDs on both the USDM and JDM versions obviously get brighter.

With the turn signal ON, the JDM will flash yellow and the USDM version will flash red. The flashing bulb is clear on both models, but the JDM housings are colored making the flashing bulbs appear amber. The flashing light is located in the center of the outboard LEDs.

With the hazard lights on, the JDM units will flash amber and the USDM units will flash red.
Very well put.

Also - the JDMs don't have the side marker light (its a single red LED on the US) on the edge of the taillights. I have a feeling these are only mandated in the states because most modern cars have this light in some form.

If someone wants to tell me how to quickly post up a picture I can go find another G35 and park next to it and take a quick picture of the two...

Thanks, you just reminded me of other stuff to buy while in Tokyo!

So far my list
Tail lights
Mirrors
V36 Skyline Floor mats

Any other parts that are different than the US Spec/Can't get from Infiniti?

At this point I'll have to ship it all back to my place in California from Tokyo. Might be more money than a dealer can import in bulk for, but at least ill have a story to it since I'll pick them up in person at a Nissan dealer in Tokyo.

Im looking at the japan dealer catalog for nissan, and it looks like there is also mirrors with the cameras in them. Im sure its a pina to install cameras etc. These mirrors dont have the turn signal in them. Not sure if its a dealer installed option, cant read japanese. Im sure its factory installed.
