looks go m45 for performance rays. So much lighter because they are forged, tougher too.

+1 on M45 wheels. I have them and love the look. Also what model G35 do you have? If you have an X then I would stick to the M45 wheels otherwise you'll have different size wheels in the front and back.

I too vote for the G37 wheels.

Between Rays and M45 I personally think its a toss up. I had the same dilmena when I first bought my car, and I found a great deal on the Rays so went with those.

Rays if it's wheels only. Or if packaged, I'd go G37 19s. They stock tires sizes would be closer to the oem sedan sizes for 08+ HR powered sedans?

Cheapest and most effect mod is better tires for your existing rims. Bigger rims are mostly cosmetic -- and can hurt performance if they're heavier, or if they have generic all-season tires.

I second this recommendation. The other plus w/ 370Z 19" rims is the fact that they come with 275-35-19 and 245-40-10 tires.

If you are thinking economy, the m45 rims are nice because you can run the same size tires and rotate them as needed. As mentioned, they are fairly heavy though. I have them and run 235/40/19s all around with 15mm spacers. You can definitely feel the performance loss but I'm not exactly going to the track either.

Just beware when buying m45 rims. A lot of 1st genners have been using them and run very low profile tires--many are bent without it being obvious. Unfortunately the set I got from another forum member here had this problem--should have known better when he did not want to sell just the rims but tires/rims together.
