Everyone with a BBK

I'm considering this upgrade, but I have a 17 inch spare. What did you guys do about the spare issue with your cars?

2 options if you want to keep a spare in the trunk: Buy a spare from a G37 that has upgraded or find a wrecked G37 at the salvage yard and buy the spare.

That's just silly. You should have a spare.
Do you really want to deal with getting a tow if/when you have a flat?
Too many towing horror stories.

I've never needed a spare before but if I take it out, my luck will change and I'll need it 3 times a week. No thanks.

Then does that mean you won't be getting a BBK either?

LOL.
Honestly, I never gave it a thought until you asked the question.
Thanks for peeing on my parade.

We need to find out the exact size spare wheel that from the factory with the BBK installed.
That's our answer.

Didn't mean to do that, sorry man. Just look at it this way, better to realize it now than when you need the spare. I think it's the 17 inch wheel that comes stock.

As long as my spare isn't yellow like in the Lexus IS and it fits... I'm good

I still have my spare in my car, but once my 19"s come in, the spare I have will be useless. I really don't mind getting my car towed, I don't understand why there have been so many threads lately with people worrying about getting their cars towed lol...i had to get my car towed to the dealership twice...once because my battery died a few months ago and the tow guy was really cool and he made sure he didn't damage the car at all...so I'm not sure why some of you guys are so worried about getting a car towed?

I've needed a spare several times in my life...but even if you have a spare it doesn't mean it will work lol...in my caddy i had to change the rear passenger side tire, as soon as i lowered the car on the spare, the spare just deflated haha, what a ****ty feeling...same thing happened in my camry...and i'm sure a lot of you don't check the air pressure on your spare like you do on your rolling tires...roadside assistance is your friend and its 24 hrs from what i remember...a tow or spare, either way your car will not be left stranded in an unknown location

I took out my spare as soon as I put my Akebonos in my car. Now I carry AAA card everywhere with me.

I still have my spare but I'll just take it out when I get my wheels (20's) and eventually my BBK.
My insurance company here provides free 24hr roadside assistance and I'm not worried about them towing my car since they deal with supercars and high end luxury cars all the time.
I may see if I can fit a sub in there so it isn't wasted space though
