Has anyone been able to transfer their iPhone phonebook to the car?
I have 08 G w/ Navi...it doesn't seem to work.

You cannot transfer iPhone contacts to any car or computer via Bluetooth. It either has to be synced or manually inputted. With the G your only choice is manual input. I bought the 1st gen the day it came out and 2nd gen back in July and neither are able to transfer contacts. It's super frustrating.

the iPhone doesn't support it.
I have a 3G and I was stunned when I found this out.

it won't work because Steve jobs is a ****,
the iphone is one of the most powerful phones ever, but apple has locked so much functionality out of the device because they have their head up their ***.
the iphone is capable of transferring contacts via blue tooth. except for the fact that apple removed that profile from the blue tooth stack. its not that they were too lazy to add that functionality, they actually made the decision to remove it.
there is a whole list of things that apple chose not to include.

Nah.
I went through that phase with my touch. I'm not feeling the jailbroken version anymore. Not with the amount of apps available now.
I'm rolling stock on my 3G and I'm super happy with it.
I had a LG Dare through Verizon and that thing was just plain stupid. Trying to browse the web on that POS was a joke. I hated it. I ended up with a $160 early term fee, $300 out of pocket for the 3G and another $100+ in cases, films, etc.
It was worth every single penny!
On another note, what does it say about our world, where iToot is the most popular app right now?
WTF?
