I use several 2GB cards that I picked up on eBay for $2 - $3 each. Get the cheapest cards you can find, since access speed is not an issue when using CF for mp3's.
really? what a letdown. I'm looking at getting a 2007 G35S 6MT and was looking forward to getting a 32gb cf card and rockin' and rollin'. So you're saying this won't work huh?Originally Posted by mgG35S
There is no limit on CF capacity, but there is a limit on number of songs that will be recognized. 512 tracks is the maximum that will be read in your G35 regardless of CF capacity, so getting a CF card that's larger than 2GB (can fit approximately 500 tracks) is pretty much useless.I use several 2GB cards that I picked up on eBay for $2 - $3 each. Hey thanks for that advice !! I paid $45 for a 4 GB card that I ended up returning. Never thought about the speed issue. Thats a way better idea.

512 songs is baby stuff, I have 4000+ songs, and at least 2000 of those are songs that I REALLY want to have available to me all the time...
