Brakes

How are your brakes doing on the newer G35 models?
I previously had the 2004 and I had to replace my brakes about 4 times within 40K miles.

The VDC seems to use the rear brakes more than I would like, which is causing the rears to go faster than the fronts.
I have 31K on my car and right now, I have rear pads on order (it's time) but my fronts are still sitting at 90%.

The brake system on the 07+ is a complete redesign. The brake issues that plagued the early models are gone.

Ditto re. VDC-related wear on rear brake pads. When last at dealer's, I was told that fronts had a lot of pad left but rears were 4K away from being done. I will be replacing them at 30-31K. I am very happy with the brakes' performance, however. Replacing brakes 4 times before 40K is nuts.
