Replacement strips for: top of shifter / steering wheel trim

Are there any aftermarket parts available that could be used to cover these two spots? For me these are two areas that really have gotten nicked up in the last two years. The top of the shifter never really had a chance.

I imagine the steering wheel trim is tougher to replace. It is really peeling/wearing/scratching off especially around where my left hand holds the wheel and near the bluetooth/volume buttons.

You could always wrap the factory pieces in carbon fiber cloth. There are serveral posts on here of guys doing this on their G's... It looks great and doesn't cost much either.

I painted mine on my 07. The 08 still ok. Also you can get the M shifter on the G. There is a thread about it here somewhere.

Steering part you should replace it with 08-09 parts. They are not as bad as the 07 or early 08. The late 08 and 09 are plastic not silicon. Same with the door trim around the window switches. They were crapy silicon in my 07 and were pitting but the 08 is plastic and holds good.

+1 on the M shift ****!

Here are a few pics of the '08 M shift **** on my G.

As you can see in the first pic, the M **** matches the G35S steering wheel perfectly.

Update!!! I took my G into the Dealership and i got them to agree to replace the trim around the steering wheel bc it was peeling ( i had bought the car certified pre-owned and there was black paint covering the peeling) They couldnt seem to find the right part. the Dealership just called and they are giving me a BRAND NEW STEERING WHEEL!!! they are just replacing the whole thing!! I am picking it up today!
