Ahh, with his car I'm sure he could have gone with like quad 6" tips hahaha the old TL is a good looking car, I was thinking of getting the redesigned one with the AWD saw the pic and was like MEH, If i was gonna buy it would be the old one.

I really can't wait till you put on your berks to see if you get the sucking back exhaust sound and if your set up gets rid of it. I do not have a full custom piping from the cats though, but it's possible that because i'm using 2" pipes/stock pipes instead thats why I have 0 drone.
I've used that x-pipe and the 4" round resonators / mufflers before and love the sound o that set-up, so that's the way I'm gonna go this time. I'm not familiar with the dual in and out muffler you are using in place of your x-pipe, so I'm a little reluctant to go that route... It sounds great on your car, but I'm thinking that that dual in and out muffler probably creates more turbulance through it than the x-pipe tht magnaflow makes.

I'm have my Berks on within the next week, so I'll definitely let you know how it turns out. Shortly after that I'll start working on my custom mid-pipe.

Nice pic! Love the look of those huge Tanabe exhaust tips!

It's funny, my wife loves the style of the older TL's, but she says the new one looks like a transformer that tried to transform back into a car, but it doen't quite fit right.... LOL... All the pieces just don't work well together for some reason.

Yeah, so far I've got less than $900 into my exhaust, and I figure I should be able to do the custom mid-pipe for under $500, so that will be $1400 for a full dual 2-1/2" 304SST exhaust, header back. Now I just need to get Robby to sell me his IMPULS.
