XM radio -- free AFTER free trial???

Attention all new G buyers,

I would like you to do a little experiment with your free trial XM satellite radio.

The day my free trial expired I switched to XM radio just to see what would happen. Lo and behold, I still had XM radio! YAAAAAAY!!!

I thought I got lucky and they forgot to cancel my subscription. So I go to change the station, but the moment I did the screen read "Acquiring Signal". Soon after, XM radio was gone for good! NOOOOOOO!!!

I guess I was still able to listen to the last station it was on. So now I am wondering (and will forever be) if I had left it on that one station, could I have gotten one XM station for free for the lifetime of my car?

Your mission, if you so choose to accept, is to leave the XM radio on one last station -- your "favorite" station -- when your free trial expires. Let's see if that one station continues to play.

This message will self destruct in 5 seconds...

my subscription lasted 5 months for some reason. I barely used it though, mostly BPM and top 20

I renewed my license for 1 year but I only listen to 3 stations, The virus, Area, and the Mad Dog.

I'm about to turn in my 2006 M45 Sport with Sirius after leasing it for 41 months (39 month lease + 2 month extension) and I had Sirius for free the whole time. For some reason it never shut off after the 3 month trial.

Even better, every time my Sirius sub expires, I tell them I'm thinking of canceling, and they always give me a few months free. I don't remember the last time I paid for it.

They seem to be very accommodating

it will die after a few days. already been through this. no need for any missions, all you get is the weather and the welcome to xm channel.

Love my XM radio. Wouldn't trade it for anything.
