I have a White G35 journey... i have my grill blacked out. im getting the OEM lip... now im stuck on weather to get it in ivory pearl or in black.... if anyone can photoshop it i would be grateful... opinions would be good... thanks.. ohh and im getting my roof blacked out (vinyl)

definitely keep it white IMO but I just don't really like different color lips.. black hood/roof/trunk/windows all can look good, but I don't think the lip can but this is just my opinion, so do what you like

 

Personally I think the black lip will look a little tacky. But since your car isn't Moonlight White wouldn't you have to get it repainted regardless? Why not buy the black lip and see how it looks, if you don't like, color match it to IP.

I would have to agree man, keep the lip IP. If your still debating I think NoG35S had a good idea. Buy the black and if you do not like it color match.

 

It would look pretty good, if you had more pieces of black trim, like black side skirts, roof etc, but just 1 black piece up front is kinda weird, but maybe it'll look nice, i'm just trying to imagine it.

 

i think im gonna get it in IP and when i go in to get my roof black ill tell them to vinyl it and maybe my side skirts.

 

if you want it to look like a cheap POS junk yard hooptie, go for it. CF on white MIGHT look good, but black def won't--and at that, CF lips on white G's just don't seem like a good idea. the lines are all wrong.

 

Ick. Black side skirts and front lip on a white car? The black roof is hot, but the side skirts and front lip will look like you couldnt afford to paint them. To each his own, but really?

 

ya i just photoshopped a photo of the sideskirts and it looks really bad.... i guess IP lip and black roof. and maybe get some HIDs
