Tinting

The "Law" in CA states that no tint is allowed on the front windshield or the front 2 side windows, however.... it really depends on the cop that pulls you over. I've had limo tint (5%) all around on my last 2 cars and have gotten pulled over for it (ONLY by CHP, local cops don't seem to care at all...)
It really depends on where you live and how strict the cops are. CHP will almost always stop you, city cops not so much. Either way the penalty is only a fix-it-ticket ($10 court fee and front tint removal). Small price to pay for a great look IMO. If you have 35% tint all around I doubt it'll be a problem (Granted 35% is not very dark), anything below that (20% - 5%) and you're stepping on a fine line...

x2 on 35% all around. I've had it since Mar/Apr 0f 2007 and have been lucky so far. Make sure to get ceramic tint. It will deflect heat better than limo 5% of metallic tint and keeps the classy look of the car.
