Exclamation Clicking Noise coming from the rear tires driving me bat crazy.

Yesterday I noticed a clicking sound coming from my rear tires, my first thought was maybe I drove over a piece of duct tape or something (it has happened to me prior), but nothing visible was detected. I drove around for a bit, and still noticed the clicking. It's constant, and quite frankly rather annoying. I'm due to get new rear brakes, I wonder if that is causing the clicking. Has anybody experienced this, any help is appreciated?

When my Saab needed a set of new brake had the same issue. After they installed a new set of brake the noise was gone. Hope this is the case with you also.

Not sure if it's the same problem of not, but on my 05 I was in for service and I complained of a clicking sound coming from the rears and my service guy informed me of a TSB he was aware of. They took care of it and now all is good. No clicky!

Not necessarily because the older G's had this clicking problem with their axles and it was due to the splines of the axles being under greased or something along those lines so it could very well be an axle problem, or as simple as the brake dust shield or exhaust hitting something... G/L

I had a problem like that. Took it to the dealer he almost tore the car apart before they found it. The coverings that surrond the wheel wells was loose, one of the plastic screws had stripped and caused it to come lose and rattle in the wind at higher MPH.
