Exclamation check engine

installed my FI exhaust to day and check engine light came on?? is this a big problem ?? how can i fix it ? help plz

lol calm down .. it could be anything and most people are sleeping now 2 am pst and 5 am est. give it a couple days.

get the code read a check engine can mean a lot of different things. find the code then you can get help or suggestions. later.

Give your gas cap 10-15 clicks to be sure it's tight and take her for a drive.
That's the first thing to check when the CEL comes on.

^^agreed.

did u reset the ecu? make sure you check all connections on the exhuast to make sure there are no leaks and loose bolts etc.

i think its from the exhaust sensor going to check it tomorrow morning....

I have to agree with lucky I would be checking for any leaks, bolts anything that could be the cause down the exhaust. Did you go to a mechanic to set it up or did you give it a go yourself?

I have to agree with lucky I would be checking for any leaks, bolts anything that could be the cause down the exhaust. Did you go to a mechanic to set it up or did you give it a go yourself?


no a mechanic :S still didnt solve the problem!!!=(
