headlights will turn off by itself but im pretty sure dome lights or rear lights thats left on will not turn off automatically because my car just died one morning and i believe it was one of my interior domelights.

All lights should go off. I've left my lights on before and everything eventually turns itself off, this is common on most new cars not just Infiniti.
