Damn I need to get the BB grounding kit and BD soon...
LOL.. Me too! In fact, I make them do a full walk-around of my car before it goes in and again when it comes out.
When they do anything that requires them to remove a wheel, they torque the lugs to 60 ft/lbs and roll the car out to me, where I them torque then down the rest of the way myself. They have proven that they cannot be trusted.

They know not to wash my car as well. It always comes out dirtier than when it went in and I'm tired of buffing out their crappy towel marks.

My dealer loves me!

When I was researching the TSB and the sensitive throttle issue, I ran across a post that claimed the TSB that corrects the cruise control variations (non adaptive) also smooths out the throttle a bit. Wish I could find it again.

I believe it's TSB: ITB08-017... I'll go looking for it

Lol my service guy knows my car goes in in perfect condition except curb rash on my wheels from stupid hotel valets...he doesn't even look at the car, if anything were to happen (god forbid) and I see it when taking delivery. He fixes it with no questions asked.

They hand wash my car after the service so I don't mind.

They really do love me at my dealer. haha

So let me get this straight — you guys like the jerky, jumpy throttle, and would be pissed if someone fixed it?

I may be in the wrong car . . .

LOL don't hate us. It just feels more alive when the throttle is sensitive. I miss my 07 with sensitive throttle. The 08 is smoother.

Hey guys I need some clarification about the warped rotors, now I also get the shaky sensation when braking hard, usually when going really fast and I have to slow down quickly the steering wheels shakes a bit and the car moves a bit from side to side, it's hard to keep it straight. Now what exactly are warped rotors? and how can I find out if that is the problem I am having?

Well you just did find out. The shaky steering from higher speed brake is the first sign. You can take the wheels off and indicate it if you have an indicator. It would tell you how much it is running out.

If it is your rotors, expect it to get worse with time until they are turned or replaced.
If they are turned, it's a temporary resolution... it will come back.

Jerkyness is due to the driver cause, first of all it has quite a bit of HP and second of all as mentioned above if you are not used to the pedal type this will happen. trust me i know since i went from a toyota corolla to the g35 07+. and about the braking... well i had a minor issue with that but it was because of the stupid dealer who didn't put the bolts on my rear right wheel so it kept on vibrating when i braked. when the bolts were changed it worked fine. no complains.

I did get the TSB applied, and overall I'm happy that I did. If I want the more immediate response, I use the DS mode. Also, the gearbox definitely does learn from your behavior over time. So if you floor the throttle quiet often (post TSB), it becomes more responsive - not quiet as jerky as it was prior to the TSB, but still better than just after the TSB.

As for the rotors, that has been a huge PITA for me. I've had my rotors turned 4 times and replaced once (not in that order), and I'm only at 25k miles. Basically the OEM rotors are crap, and I intend on replacing them with something aftermarket once I'm out of warranty. I have complained to Infiniti customer service about the rotors, and they basically said I drive the car hard. You don't put 306HP on a car and expect people to drive slowly all the time do you?

Cheers
