The matte black I have would have some "textured" pattern on it just like most leathers, I'm talking about the normal pattern of the look of the leather. I'm still in the search for a good price for the matte/buff finish but once if find a good deal I'll let you guys know but all the leathers I've found so far all have some sort of pattern/textured surface not the smooth leather.

As far as the DIY goes I've got all the pictures taken but I haven't uploaded them all and added DIY steps just yet but I'll try to get it done asap I've been super busy with remodeling my new place and with working 11 hour days I barely have time to EAT or do anything lol I'll do my best to have it up soon thanks for the patience guys!

Hey locksmith, looks great!

Any pics of the (AT) whole shift plate in black suede? Your OEM suede replacement looks great, but hoping the whole plate cover will look just as good or better!

LOL soon man probably today on my lunch break I'll take a crappy pic with my blackberry phone for ya haha, I need to fix the boot because it is a little bit too long/tall I need to shorten it about an inch and then it will be perfect but right now it looks good but its a little bit too baggy. I also realized I think the oem **** looks better without the bottom silver trim ring, I'll snap a pix later

I went through the thread and I didn't see pics of a shift boot on a 08' 6mt. Do you have a pic of one?
Thanks in advance,
Ozzie.

I actually did make 2 boots for 2 seperate customers but none of them have taken any pictures for me yet Let me know if you want a boot, I already have the pattern copied for the boot so I can make it easily.
