2007 G35 Rear View Mirror

Hey guys I just bought a 2007 G35 today and when I turn my music up a bit my rear view mirror vibrates like crazy!! It seems like a really crappy mirror not even auto-dimming so I was thinking I could maybe find an auto-dimming replacement that may not vibrate as much. Any thoughts on whether or not this maybe a good idea? Any idea where I can find an auto-dimming replacement mirror?

Happens to me as well, but my 9500ix is mounted on my mirror too so my solution is just to lower the music + bass!

Yea sure like that with happen . If I could find this auto-dimming mirror how easy/hard would it be to install? I would assume that all the wiring is there so I would just need to plug everything in. Any idea where I could find a mirror?

I have an auto dimming mirror and it vibrates as well. I'm not sure if it vibrates as much as yours, but it does vibrate.

I have an auto dimming mirror and it vibrates just the same. If you don't have an auto dimming mirror you won't really need it if you get your back window tinted. My windows are tinted and I don't really see a difference with the auto dimming on or off.

EDIT: if you are interested there is one for sale

I installed a gentex autodimming mirror 3 weeks after I bought the car (don't really want to tint it). Still vibrates when the stereo is on, though... funny, 2007 accord's stock mirror does not, but G's does.

I don't think the mirror is vibrating but the metal sleeve on which it is mounted. I noticed the vibration as well. Pinching the metal sleeve so it is tighter eliminated the vibration. It will loosen up after a while, 6-7 months, but all you've got to do is pinch the sleeve again. Hope this helps.

Sweet thanks. I will definitely be ordering that auto-dimming mirror just because the mirror i have now SUCKS, it is also very small, alot smaller than a normal.

I turned my bass down a bit and it doesn't vibrate as much obviously but it is still very difficult to see out of the mirror. I will also check out that metal sleeve and see if I cant get the mirror tighter on it until I get this new mirror.

lol mine does the same thing. When I used to have system in my accord, no joke my mirror would pitch sideways because the bass was rattling my car so much. You could hear me no joke like half a mile away coming up. If there is no speeding cars driving by that is :P
