So I test drove both 07 and 08 Sport models, and compared to the non-sport models i had to press really hard on the gas pedal on the sport g35s. Has anyone else noticed this? It almost seems like my foot/ankle/calf would get tired if I drove it for a long time.

Thats why they give us intelligent cruise control

But really the only pedal difference i noticed was the brakes. a world of difference. the S brakes are a ton more responsive!!

I dont know, but i think the S gas pedal is a little to responsive. Just touch it lightly and the car leaps from a stop.
And as far as the brakes ive driven the X and it doesn't seem like a noticeable diff.

This may depend more on the throttle sensitivity and whether or not the TSB has been applied than anything else.
My throttle is crazy touchy... and I like it that way.

Throttle tip in is much too sensitive in my non sport X as well.

The last 1/3+ of travel in the pedal does very little. It seems 95%+ of the throttle opening is in the first 2/3 of travel.

this is my original thought as well... ^^most of the guys who had the TSB preferred the fast tip-in pas pedal

Haha this reminds me of the time Aeson posted the same thing and everyone under him just went ^+1 to favoring the sensitive throttle

I guess you are one of the more popular a-hole's on driver Scott

I do have to agree though I love how sensitive the throttle is on our sedans. I havent driven the X models for a serious amount of time but I have taken many out for a spin during my test drives prior to my purchase. I can't say that I found much of a difference between mine or an X. Both very sensitive both very satisfying.

I love the sensitivity in my '08 S. It's perfect, I've driven BMWs, Audi's, etc. back to back with my car and the overall driving experience is better. The throttle tip-in, brake feel, steering feel are all better in the G. However the other cars are quite a bit quieter and smoother (eg. more "refined")
