What car do you see yourself trading your G35 in for next?
Honestly, probably a handa civic. I plan to keep my G35 until I want to buy my house. When I buy my house I will live reality, the opposite of what I am doing now. Which is having fun at a little higher price.
That's what I'm thinking. While the G35 is a sedan, it's not all that practical with its no folding rear seats, smallish trunk, etc. My G20t was smaller and much more practical. Now, I'm looking at stuff like the GTI-R, A3, Mazdaspeed3, etc. Wish they would bring the A5 sportback to the US. That car would be perfect:
Great choice my friend. With the right breathing mods you'll easily hit high 11s
A friend of mine has a 335 with JB3, and a catback, and he clocked 12.2 from his first run on the 1/4 mile drag strip. Second run he ran 12.1 .
As far as my next car goes, it is going to be E90 M3 Sedan.

1. I think BMW will discontinue V8 use in the M3 in subsequent models. It seems BMW is focused on turbos and their legendary for their inline-6.
2. 335i + JB3 = better gas mileage
3. 335i + JB3 = significantly less expensive (I'll buy an 08 model and the savings is in the tune of $15k+ on the used market).
That said, I'm now looking to save money and will buy an E92 335i.

They just don't sell for some reason.
Honestly, I'd want something V8. I plan on keeping my G for a long time ( It's been a long time since I've had a car that I've fallen in love with and the G did it for me ) and maybe when I give it up I'd hit a CTS-V or something like that. I simply adore that car...I just can't afford it right now.
E90/92 M3 was originally on my list, but I changed tunes for the following reasons:

. BMW were known for their High Revving Engines. Such as Inline 6, V8 and the current V10. If I'm going to buy a M3 I'm surely going to buy the Current V8 one. I'm not a fan of FI Engines.
Yea the 335i is much much cheaper than the M3, but having the mighty V8, a 7 speed sequential gearbox, plus the launch control mode and the other high tech gadgets that the car is equipped with, dude that's a whole different experience.
That’s if you know what I'm saying.
