Used BMW diesel unless gas stays under 2.50/gallon.

My Sentiments Exactly. Just minues the IS-F & C63, and add the S5 to my list. But I'm crossing my fingers for the G56 though.

Depending on which one I can get a better deal on, but will most likely be a 78 Buick Century wagon or 84 Plymouth Voyager turbo 5pd.

I got scared away and we are keeping our old GMC for a while longer.
Especially after I have had bad weather, I've thought that a 4x4 pickup would be nice as a second vehicle rather than my old pickup. Especially something a little smaller than my F150. But, yes, by the time I price out (list) a Frontier that is relatively nice, I was up to $30,000. Too much Especially since my truck is paid for, just takes up too much space in the garage.

Unfortunately, the new full sized pickups appear even bigger.

As for my next car, I'm all over the place. Sometimes I want something with a little more room. Sometimes I'm thinking something with a little better fuel economy, even if it is a little smaller. But I would like something that is still at least a little premium. No Sonata for me. Only go with something relatively common looking if I end up going the hybrid route, if that is my mood when I buy again.

The more I see the front ends of Acuras, the more I realize it is NOT growing on me. So current design TSX's are out.

I've thought of a an Audi, accepting that repair costs are probably higher. Or, possibly, the G25 I've heard rumors about. The BMW just appears a little too common for me.

I've been considering other brands just for variety. I've had my G for over 6 years now, with plans to keep it at least another 1-2 years. I hope to have enough savings by then to buy whatever I buy for cash.

Tend to keep my cars longer than I ought to, so my 07 6MT may well last 'til 2012. If so, we'll see what the economy brings me then.

Best of all possible worlds an AMG or CLK. If not, I'm between a G Xs (more winter oriented) or 335i.

But who can predict, perhaps a hybrid thing with handling of a BMW and the upscale feel of the G.

Right now, I love my G: best car value and performance wise I've ever owned.
