Exclamation Please Help...

I dropped my 07 g35 S off at the tire shop and they called me to ask where the wheel lock key is. I just bought this car so I have no idea and I'm at work so I can't search the hell out of the car for it.

The tire guy looked in the trunk and in the glove compartment but said they couldn't find it. Not sure how good they looked because they are busy.

Where is it normally stored? My guess is, the last guy who owned the car put it back where it's typically stored but I dont know where that is and I can't look for it.

So where are they typically stored? Any guesses? Thanks for your time!

When i bought mine used and had to get new tires, they had the same issue. Mine was in the user's manual case.

But I didn't find that out until I picked it up - they were able to get the wheels off on their own.

Mine was in the glove box. I don't think wheel locks are standard (they weren't on my 07 anyhow) but our 09 had them. If they're not standard I would guess that the dealers put them in different places like the console or in the owners booklet pouch or the glovebox. Good Luck!

just an FYI, wheel locks are not standard. If you have them then the dealer probably added them.

Well, you bought it USED, so, the previous owner might not give it to the dealer and the dealer might not give it to you.

Check your owner's manual case. There should also be a white card with numbers in there if you happened to lose the key so you could order another one.
