Well consumer affairs called. She said they don't make the plates for an 08 but if a 09will fit then they will use them. Said they wil look at my seat and decide what to do.

So I just got back from the dealer. Drove in and waited and waited and waited until a girl came to help me. Told her what was going on and she said I had to see someone else. He was busy so I stood outside for 15 min waiting. He finished and said the manager wanted to see my car. 10 min later he said manager was busy. He then came back in a few and said they will replace my seat, put on the splash guards and he said they would try to fit the plates for an 09 on mine but they just don't have them for an 08.

Congrats on finally getting everything you wanted though it took some time and patience it seems worth it. As for the plates, 09 will fit just fine without any modifications just dont let them fool you out of them. Enjoy having won a battle against the stealership!

That's just what he said. I don't know if the illuminated kick plates for an 09 can be modified for your 08. Those were his words.

You're doing a good job here. Just be firm. Tell THEM that there are no modifications required so that THEY understand that you know.
Even if modifications had been required, they put it on the bill of sale that they would install illuminated kick plates. It's their responsibility to follow through.

Couple of things: The dealers in Cerritos suck. A lot of the Infiniti dealers suck and Infiniti Consumer Affairs is somewhat useless. They can put calls in but can force any of the dealers to do anything. This is a shame because Infiniti is a good product.

Well I got my G back with splash guards and a new seat and the illuminated kick plates. They must come with rears because the rears have been replaced but don't say infiniti or illumite but are raised instead of flush.
