Auto isn't that bad!! especially with the paddle shifter.. It makes me feel like Im driving a manual and it feels great as long you can get passed the fact that it takes a long time to shift.. LOL

first couple of car I've owned were auto then last two previous cars were manual. I thought once I've gone manual there is no way I'm going back to auto... Now that I've been driving auto for a couple days, I really dont miss manual much. Its nice to kick back, get relaxed in the seat and not to worry about shifting. There are times when I feel the itch to wanna shift or I have no clue where to place my clutch foot. lol but auto kicks but just as much. flooring it and letting auto conduct perfect shift each time is priceless.

What gets me exicited about the auto is I can flip it to manual sport mode and shift all the way up to 7, which is realllllllllllyyy nice.

Driving the fwy with manual becomes an auto anyways... but now I get the pleasure of having a long drive with my lady and not worry about the shifter being in the way or falling to neutral.

I'm a happy guy right now

plus.. I dont need to shift to feel that I'm fast, I know I'm fast!

I actually like the auto better because I've raced many other 6mt coups and I always feel like I have an advantage off a dig because while there spinning their tires when we take off Im already gone because I rev the car up a little so they weight of the car is already pressing down on the tires cause it to hook better.

From My Experience

I would wait on both and see how i do with mortgage payments first.
Owning a house ain't no joke.
The only reason im suggesting this is because I went trough buying a car and a house at the same time too,and is not easy..

Good luck

[QUOTE=LightsOut;4873069]I've been looking for a 6mt, found a few but they sell to fast or out of my price range.

you obviously do not know what you want.. you want us to decide?

I would not drive anything but a 6MT...I did not settle for second best...

I'm too lazy to read this entire thread and saw that its over a year old.

But I read the first and last posts...thought I'd give my two cents if its anywhere near relevant at this point.

Didn't want to wait so I got an auto on my first Maxima. Regretted it.

Just bought a G yesterday....did a search on cars.com.....nationwide....44 to choose from.

Made a lowball offer, then did a fly and buy six days later.
