Thanks for the feed back, Hersh. That is steep for the warranty. They make you an offer after the purchase. A thing to consider is that these cars with all the high tech van be very expensive to repair - most anything today is replaced and not repaired anyway, like my Tranny. BTW, what a difference the new tranny has made. That hard shift into 3rd gear is gone. W/O Warranty, that would have been a near $3k job !

Update--I called several other dealerships in the area and found an Infiniti dealer (Coconut Creek Infiniti) that was willing to let me buy the car with only the 150 fee as agreed to in the contract. No other fees. That saves me over a grand compared to the other dealer.
Guess the name of the game is to shop around if you are going to buy your lease out. I called Infiniti Finance to see if I could register a complaint against the first dealership, but they told me the dealers are independantly owned and can assess whatever fees they like. Guess who won't be getting my business in the future? Yup--Sawgrass Infiniti in south FL.

Yeah, those clowns at Sawgrass are full of tricks. It was a pain buying my car as well. First time in they backed out of all the promisses and arrangements made with them over the phone on the purchase. I guess that they count on you getting furstrated and paying up. I will never buy anything from them ever again.
